Space; the final frontier

The ‘Space; the final frontier’ series covers a wide range of space related topics. Space is boundless and unexplored, for centuries we’ve been trying to explore earth, but now all that’s left is space. Space is the final frontier of men, the next thing to explore. This series aims to depict the wonders of space that many can only dream of, on beautiful coins. This series in specific focuses on space and every coin follows a similar design process. Issued are the Universe, the Milky Way and the Pillars of Creation Nebula with a Black Hole. All coins in this series are struck in the highest quality possible and make for a great fit for any coin collection.

Wildlife

Wildlife has always been a favorite theme for commemorative coins, but with so many around you must innovate to create something unique that collectors will appreciate. NumisCollect currently has two new and innovative coin series dedicated to wildlife & nature: Growing Up and Our Wonderful Earth series.

The Growing Up series depicts young animals growing up, utilizing both sides of the coin. One for the young and one for the adult, but also a specialty: One side is minted in traditional proof and the other side in black proof. The Our Wonderful Earth series depicts an eco-system and the living, breathing animals within. Each coin in the series has a colored edge, with the colors representing their respective eco-systems.

Cheers to 2022

The past two years have been challenging for everyone. Sadly, there was no World Money Fair and other shows to meet, socialize and catch up in person. On top of that, restrictions at workplaces and manufactures resulting in delays, not being able travel (which is a nice perk in the coin industry) and many other things. This will all change in 2022 as society is slowly heading back towards normal.

Working remotely, on a remote island for example isn’t the worst thing either and gives rise to many great ideas for new coin issues. For example, NumisCollect will issue the first ever beer coin. A pilsner, but if you’re into stouts you might have to wait till 2023!

History

History themed coins are a great way to learn about the past. NumisCollect currently runs four series dedicated to various historical themes. The Lost Civilizations series shows civilizations that have been long lost but not forgotten. In 2021 the Babylonian coin issued and in 2022 the series continues with beautiful designs of Phoenicia. In 2022 two new series launch: Rites of Passage & Afterlife and the Equinox & Solstice series. The former is about the burial rites in various cultures while the other is about ancient civilizations and how they used the sun alignments in their culture. The Archeology & Symbolism is the fourth running series, depicting an assortment of archeological finds and symbols which are still clouded in mystery.

100th Anniversary Tutankhamun

The year 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s Tomb. NumisCollect, for several years, has been running a variety of series. For some the next issue in 2022 will have an Egyptian theme. Our Archeology & Symbolism series is dedicated to the tomb depicting the mask in the middle and all the tomb’s hieroglyphs around it. Our Tutankhamun’s Mask in 3D which was original issued in 2018 is back with a limited special edition. It stands side by side with Anubis, Nefertiti and other 3D coins that will be announced soon. In our Dot-Art series the next issue will also dedicated to Egypt, depicting a pyramid and Egyptian symbols. Egypt will be also featured in our Afterlife & Rites of Passage series later this year. It will be a great year for coin collectors interested in Egyptian themed coins.
