Today, Battenberg Gietl Verlag is the leading specialised publisher of numismatic and collector’s literature in the German-speaking world.
Small but mighty! With a team of around 20 people, we work daily on our print and online magazines as well as exciting book projects for collectors.

OUR MAGAZINES
In 2000 Albert Beck’s „MünzenRevue“, the largest and most renowned international numismatic journal in the German-speaking area, was integrated into the publishing house and has been continued with great success ever since.
Since 1995 we have been publishing the magazine “MÜNZEN & SAMMELN” (formerly “Münzen & Papiergeld”) at Gietl Verlag, which has also been the new home for the “Geldscheinsammler” since 2002.
In addition, the “NUMISMATISCHES NACHRICHTENBLATT”, the organ of the German Numismatic Society for its members, has also been published in the publishing house since 1996.
OUR BOOK PROGRAM
The publishing house publishes a large number of standard catalogs and specialized books on coins from antiquity to the present.
Our book program also offers literature for collectors of historical and modern medals.
We offer standard works on world banknotes in exclusive distribution as well as on German banknotes and emergency banknotes and foreign paper money.
Our publishing house publishes the standard works on the German orders and decorations.
Our book program is complemented by interesting titles on contemporary history.
